Here are typical textiles that you should not wash at 60°C because they could be damaged:

•⁠ ⁠Delicates – e.g. lace, elastic & fabric can be damaged
•⁠ ⁠Sportswear with functional fibers – loses shape and breathability

In short: Anything delicate, stretchy, color-intensive, or specially coated doesn't belong in the 60°C wash. This is where LUEactive comes in – odors are permanently eliminated at low temperatures.

Note on limescale:

Lueactive doesn't require high temperatures to destroy bacteria and microbes. The advantage of low temperatures also applies to limescale.

Limescale forms when water is heated and the temperature exceeds a certain point, typically around 60 degrees Celsius. In this temperature range, calcium carbonate, the main component of limescale, can separate from the water and form deposits. This can cause problems in washing machines, as the limescale can stick to heating elements and other components, potentially reducing the machine's efficiency.

In addition, limescale in combination with certain detergents can impair the washing effect, which can lead to fabrics not being cleaned properly. It can also leave deposits on the fabrics that harden the fabric or cause the colors to fade .
